Sound Check Studios is pleased to host CheckMates Chess Academy
CheckMates Chess Academy focuses on teaching students of ALL SKILLLEVELS. Our unique curriculum makes learning chess fun and classes
entertaining. For kids, chess is a game, an educational tool, and a great way
to bond with family!
We invite your children ages 8 thru 12 to enjoy this timeless game with us. We will be
exploring chess tactics such as thinking ahead, correct positioning, and
controlling the board while playing many chess related games like “Bughouse”
and “Crazy Queen!” Students will learn new strategies as well as ways to
apply them to their everyday lives. The last day of class we will be having a
tournament complete with PRIZES for all those who participate!
Winter Session:Where: Sound Check Studios, Downtown West Allis, 7236 W. Greenfield Ave.
When: Fall Session: Thursday's October 17th thru November 21st
6:30 to 7:30pm
Enrollment: $60 per child. 1/2 off for 2nd child/siblings

school districts including Wauwatosa, Waukesha, Hartland, Menomonee Falls and more.
